Hi 👋, I'm Rish, a software engineer based in Sydney, Australia.

Over the past decade I've worked on a wide variety of projects. I started my career in digital consulting at Accenture, building software for leading banks in Frankfurt, Germany, including a banking portal that enabled cross-bank fund transfers across every bank in Europe.

Ambition then carried me south ✈️, to Australia, where I earned my Master's before throwing in my lot with a scrappy startup called Tooezy, formerly Fixitfaster. There I built a mobile and web platform that brought home services to the fingertips of thousands. And for the past three and a half years I have plied my trade at Atlassian, shaping the enterprise applications that power the company's flagship products.

I have always believed in seeing a thing through from beginning to end, from the first sketch on the back of a napkin to the small hours when a Slack ping calls for help. My tools of choice remain React, React Native, and Node.js, and my creed is a simple one: build things that are secure, reliable, and made to last.

And when at last the code is at rest, you will find me tuning my Neovim config, lost among mechanical keyboards, or peering into the intricate machinery of a watch movement. ⌨️
